What appears simple at first glance slowly unfolds, revealing the quiet depth and inner worlds present in everyday life.

This body of work comes from the awareness that there are parts of me most people will never notice, not because I’m intentionally hiding them, but because they won’t naturally surface in everyday interactions. These parts exist somewhere between habit and personality, between comfort and self-protection, and are usually only visible to a very limited few. I often come across as aloof, observant, or hard to read, and my work becomes the place where those quieter internal thoughts and tendencies can exist outwardly without needing to be explained. I’m drawn to subtle moments and overlooked details. The pauses, hesitations, and small observations that happen when nothing particularly dramatic is going on, but something still lingers underneath.

The images functions as extensions of how I move through the world: observant, slightly detached, and inward-processing. Through this process, my intention was showing that there is always more present beneath the surface, and that what we see at first glance rarely reflects the full depth of a person or a moment.
