A gentle exploration of the quiet beauty in everyday life.
Where simplicity, repetition, and subtle transitions offer moments of calm and reflection
"Stay Still" is a series that captures the simplicity and beauty of everyday life, with a focus on calmness and serenity. In this work, I wanted to show that beauty isn’t always about being “pretty.” Sometimes, it’s about the quiet moments that offer peace. I didn’t focus on technical perfection but rather on creating images that evoke a sense of stillness and simplicity.
The series includes a lot of landscapes and skies, as these are the things that calm me. I wanted to share that even though life can feel repetitive, there’s still beauty to be found in the familiar. Through these images, I hope people can see that there are little moments in life worth appreciating, even when you feel disconnected or unable to smile.
Stay Still is influenced by artists like Rinko Kawauchi, who captures the ordinary in a way that feels poetic and peaceful. My goal is for these images to bring a sense of calmness to anyone who sees them, no matter what they might be going through
